Johnlay Falstrault

Biography

Johnlay grew up playing hockey and only transitioned to football later in his athletic journey. What started as a new challenge quickly became a serious pursuit. After realizing how different the level of competition was, he committed himself to developing as a receiver and proving that starting late does not mean finishing behind.

Story / journey

Johnlay entered football without the same background as many of the athletes around him. He showed up to one of his first football experiences without cleats or gloves and had to learn the game from the ground up. He initially played defensive back before eventually moving to receiver. His journey has been built around learning, adapting and proving that work can close the gap created by a late start. His mindset is simple: dream big, stay grounded, and put in the work required to make the goal real.

Goals

Earn the opportunity to play at the NCAA/university level, continue developing into a complete receiver, and ultimately pursue the NFL.
